Deja-vu

“Deja-vu” – a short article.

Then there was college which had to be attended everyday, even though it was very boring. she walked to the coffee shop, it was cold nowadays and coffee really helped to pump up the energy level. It had been a sleepy day. The lecture had been monotonous and she’d almost fallen asleep, sitting in the first row. She’d be alert in the future, she thought as she sipped the coffee. She didnt want to take a chance on her grades at this critical juncture. She suddenly saw him walking in her direction, with a slim library book in his hand, flipping the pages and trying to appear busy so that he wouldnt have to make eye contact with her. Everything had been fine a month ago, five years earlier it had been friends to lovers and now it had been vice versa. She felt the world go dark around her, she groped wildly into the air as her legs buckled under body and she fainted near the coffee shop. A crowd quickly assembled around her. He knew she had a low hemoglobin level and she sometimes blacked out. He rushed towards her, but she was already being carried away by the gathering mass of people. He tried to reach her, but they pushed him back, they told him not to crowd around her. ‘You dont even know that I was the most important person in her life a short while back’, he thought. They didnt even let him touch her, to feel her and know if she was okay. He watched her being carried away by hands unknown to her. There was a sense of deja-vu, the emotions in his heart were intimate but he could not place them. Everything happening around him was immensely familiar. He knew that it had not happened anytime earlier, yet there was this intense feeling that he had already experienced this before.

  1. rhetoric is different from reality . I MEAN PURSUING FACTS THOROUGH LOGIC AND CLARITY DEFINES THEIR ROLE IN OUR LIFE. ILLOGICAL IMAGINATIONS BRING US DOWN AND MAKE OUR MIND USELESS FOR PRODUCTIVITY. THE BEAUTY OF LIFE IS IT GIVES US FREE-WILL TO CORRECT,TO REPEAT ,TO RESTRICT OUR PAST EXPERIENCES. THOUGHT WHICH IS CLEAR IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR. PRACTICALLY POSSIBLE ILLUSTATIONS ARE EXPECTED FROM U…………………………

  2. abbe kya likha hai chavali, kuch samajh nahi aata.. this is creative writing… all creative writing is imaginary… ab tu chup chaap baith
